Velvet jumpsuit
by Thomai Papathanasiou

Recently I traveled to Florida for a few days and as I mentioned on a previous post, I didn’t have much time for shopping. Nevertheless, I couldn’t not pay a quick visit to Target. It is amazing how you can always find so many cool things in this store. And after years of looking for something like this, here it was waiting for me: a velvet jumpsuit! Well I wasn’t looking exactly for this material but I have wanted a jumpsuit for the past few year. However every time I would try one on I would feel it makes me look chubbier and I wouldn’t buy it.

Yet this one is just perfect! First of all it is black and floral so it has a classic element. Then the velvet makes it on trend for this season. Also it is super comfortable and it has pockets which makes it very practical! If you add the fact that I found it on offer, you could say I hit the jackpot!

The only down side is that it is sleeveless and the temperature has dropped so I can’t use it on its own. But I came up with the solution of wearing it with the turtleneck so that it can still look cool and keep me warm at the same time 😉

On this occasion I am using flats as the outfit is for a day at work, but I can’t wait to wear my new velvet jumpsuit with a pair of heels and more accessories for a more formal occasion. I am thinking that maybe Christmas or New Year’s Eve could be a great option to upgrade the look. What do you think?
