Ruffle bag and spikes
by Thomai Papathanasiou

People know how much I love accessories and it might seem like an exaggeration but I received three handbags as Christmas presents. Thankfully, each one has a very different style and size so I was so excited! That goes to show you that my friends really know what I love. Therefore I figured it was time to start showing them off and we are starting with this beautiful ruffle bag. It was a present from my friend Alberto who knows of my obsession and is always feeding it ūüôā

I loved this bag as soon as I laid eyes on it. First of all, it doesn’t look like anything I already have. The colour is easy to combine with the things in my closet and the ruffles make it so interesting. Also, it has 2 different straps so that you can use it as a shoulder bag (like in this occasion) or as a clutch. Did I mention that the size is perfect? You can easily fit in all the essentials for a day or night out!

So I decided to debut the ruffle bag by combining it with pieces I have had in my closet for a long time. It has been a while since I last used this top, but I feel that it is still very cool. Therefore I decided to play with the clash of the romantic ruffles of the bag and the girly bows of the shoes with the tough spikes detail. The silver charm bracelet and the hoop earrings were just a compliment for the silver chain strap detail.

Maybe it is the sort of look not everyone would feel comfortable¬†wearing. But you know how much I love the mixture of unexpected details. I don’t really believe in rules and I think you should wear whatever makes you feel good about yourself. So don’t be afraid to experiment with your look!
