Furry sliders part 2
by Thomai Papathanasiou

At first I was very skeptical about this trend. Now I have reached the point where I own not just one, but two pairs of furry sliders! Who would have thought that I would have such a drastic change of heart?

Maybe you remember the ones I bought a couple of months ago (check here). I thought then and there that this pair would be enough. While I was in Athens, one of my friends invited me to go shopping with her. Although I wasn’t really planning on buying something, I was checking what was available.

However, you must have realised by now that it is extremely hard for me to say no to things when I like them. So in a corner among many other pairs of shoes on sale (trigger word!) there they were. I think they were the only pair available in the store and guess what? They were my size!

So I picked them up and I tried them on. They fit well (as expected) but I was really indecisive. Did I really need a second pair of furry shoes? Since there was no other pair, I held them in my hands and went around the store to continue checking what was on sale.  After trying on more things and spending some time debating with my friend and myself about what I should buy (there was another pair of shoes that I was considering and a dress), I came to the conclusion that those were the shoes for me!

So I left everything else and I went for them! You might say that I sort of showed some self control that day (haha). The best thing is that I haven’t regretted my choice at all and I am loving all the positive comments I am receiving from people about my shoes 🙂
